Fairview’s Philanthropic Program "Flowers For Fundraising"
Tom Carlson, owner of Fairview Florist has implemented a unique concept, which is one of its kind nationally. It is a fundraising program whereby people who are sending flowers channel their order through an organization. Local, state, regional and national non-profit organizations, including religious, civic and schools are eligible.
Participating organizations are given a promotion code. When any of the organizations’ supporters or family/friends/neighbors has a need or desire to send flowers they go to www.flowersforagoodcause.com or the website of their organization. (Phone orders are also included, with the promotion code given at the time the order is placed.) They make their floral gift selection and at the end of the online order procedure, they input the organization's promotion code. At the end of each month, the organization (we call them our Partners) receives a check for the number of orders times $3.00 for each order.
There is no financial investment for the participating Partner. There's no requirement to recruit volunteers. The only obligation for the participating organization is to utilize every opportunity to remind their supporters of this unique, one of a kind, fundraising opportunity that goes on, and on, and on every day of the year, year after year.

Orders sent to us online by noon are eligible for same day delivery. Orders sent
to us after noon might be eligible for same day delivery [extra charge may apply]
or will go out the next day. All orders are subject to a Delivery charge or Order
Relay fee.
Substitutions
Seasonal and regional conditions affect the availability of flowers. Specific
varieties or colors may not always be available. Therefore, in some cases, substitutions
may be necessary.

Area Orders
Specific designs shown on our Website are unique to our store and may not be available
in other flower shops. In those instances, we describe the order in detail or
send an image to the filling/delivering florist by e-mail. We assure you the order
meets your expectations and you have our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
History
Fairview has been Carlson Family owned since 1927. Tom Carlson was born on the property where the store was located before we moved to a new location. Historical records show the location we just moved from as being a greenhouse since prior to 1890 which makes Fairview the oldest floricultural business in this market. Besides flowers and related gifts, Fairview is a major retailer for patio and sunroom casual furniture, spring garden plants and Christmas shop.
